Louis Reed Andrus, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, age 79, passed away June 3, 1995 in Murray.
Born August 6, 1915 in Salt Lake to John Stokes and Christina Rider Andrus. Married Josephine Mary Dillier in Salt Lake, February 16, 1939; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married for 56 years. Member of the LDS Church. He was a cattleman for many years, retired from Salt Lake County Roads and Bridges. He was a kind, loving and generous man who was always there when people needed him.Survivors: wife; children, JoAnn (Jerry) Smith, Lou (Lorelie), Sharon (Paul) Brown, Judy (Brent) Hoge, Timothy (Ann); 29 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 10, 12 noon, at Winder 7th Ward, 4350 South 1100 East. Friends may call Saturday, from 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Primary Children's Hospital.
