Conway B. Sonne, 77, died Friday, June 30, 1995 in Palo Alto, Calif.
A former assistant treasurer of Standard Oil Company of California (now Chevron) and author of six non-fiction books, he served on the boards of several charitable and non-profit organizations, and for many years was a trustee of the National Maritime Museum Association. A lifelong member of the LDS faith, he taught Sunday School for over 30 years.Survived by the former Elaine Wintch, of Manti, Utah, his wife of 50 years; four sons, Scott, of San Diego; Alan, of Redlands, Calif.; Marc, of Palos Verdes; Carl, of Glendale, Calif.; brothers, Richard B., Sacramento; Alma Jr. and Norman Lee, of Salt Lake City; and a sister, Faye Stucki, of Logan.
Memorial services will be held at the LDS Stake Center in Menlo Park, Calif., Wednesday, July 5, 1995 at 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held in Thursday at the Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan at 2 p.m. Friends may call at the mortuary one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Logan City, Cemetery.
