Dr. Gerald Wayne Klein, 49, died August 19, 1995 in an automobile accident near Heber City.
Born January 9, 1946, in Hawthorne, California, to Harry Henry and Eleanora Marie Hyatt Klein. Married Joyce Eaton, divorced. Married Suzanne Bainter Baxter November 20, 1992, in Salt Lake City.Active member of the LDS Church. Served as elders quorum president, in Young Men's organization, stake clerk, second counselor in the Heber 4th Ward. Also served as president of Midway Boosters. Former resident of Orange County, California and has resided in Heber and Midway for the past 17 years. Chiropractic physician in Heber City. Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.
Survived by wife of Heber City; children, Garrett and Traci Klein, Mark Klein, all of Salt Lake City; Janelle K. and Carey Edler, Kyle Klein, Matt Klein, Jill Klein, all of Heber City; stepchildren, Shawn, Lacie, Talese, Leisel and Austin Baxter, all of Heber City; five grandchildren; stepmother, Eleanor Klein, Orange, Calif.; brother, John Klein, Hesperia, Calif. Preceded in death by parents.
Funeral services Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the Heber 4th Ward. Friends may call at Olpin Mortuary on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and at the church Wednesday, one hour prior to services. Burial, Midway Cemetery.
