Adding a little more muscle to her usual point guard position, East's Elyse Stowell collected 10 rebounds along with 13 points and five assists to lead the Leopards in a 47-38 comeback win over Murray Friday night.
Fifth-ranked East came out sluggish in the first half as the Spartans jumped out to a 23-18 lead at halftime. Forward Natalie Webb scored 17 for a Murray team high.Aly Hill helped out in the Leopards' second-half turnaround, finishing with 12 points.

Fremont 73, Northridge 38: Nikki Vaughn rallied the Wolves with 14 points, four rebounds and four blocked shots. Amber Russell added 12 points and five steals.
Bonneville 45, Roy 41: Lisa Tomlinson and Melinda Webber supplied the Lakers' scoring with 14 points each. Crystal Howe and Katie Hotchkiss each scored 12 apiece for the Royals.
Layton 63, Weber 42: Fifth-ranked Layton buried the Warriors behind Elane Kimmel's 22 points. Christy McAtee of Layton and Rebecca Erickson of Weber each had 14 points.
Region 6/7
Cyprus 51, Judge 39: Six of the Pirates seven scorers were seniors as they drubbed the Bulldogs. Deborah Shober led Cyprus with 17, followed by Katrena Ellett's 13.
Olympus 61, Woods Cross 35: Lynsie Tanner turned in a strong showing with 13 points and 13 rebounds for Oly. Ashley Miller led the Titans with 16 points and added 11 boards to beat the Wildcats.
West 48, Granite 44: The Panthers edge Granite, thanks to 14 points from Aubrey Adams and 13 from Kristina Kokonis. Fia Finau and Laura Springer each had 12 for the Farmers.
Region 10
Union 67, Lehi 56: Jenni Nielson and Jenny Wearry paired up for the Cougars to score 20 points each in a road win over the Pioneers. Cindy Johnson also had 20 to lead Lehi.
Uintah 49, Park City 31: The Utes knocked off the host Miners as Amber White led the Uintah scoring with 14 points.
Region 13
North Sevier 63, Kanab 51: Chasity Peterson fired 19 points to spur on the Wolves in the region win. Becky Swapp led Kanab with 17 points.
San Juan 52, Grand 36: Arielle Beck popped in 18 points for the Broncos in their second region win this season. Beverly Shumway led the Red Devils with 16.
South Sevier 51, Parowan 43: Kaprice Ackerman lifted South Sevier to a road win with 17 in the battle of the Rams. Jamie Bentley of Parowan led all scorers with 18.
Region 14 East
Manila 87, Mount Vernon 7: The Mustangs rolled easily over the Patriots as Gayle Tinker led the scoring with 17. Maretta Collett shot 14 and Mindy Schofield turned in 13.
Region 16
Green River 72, Monument Valley 48: Gaylene Ekker scored 20 points before halftime and finished with 24 in a rout of the Cougars. Andrea Luke added 14 for the Pirates, now 7-3 overall.
Altamont 60, East Carbon 31: The Vikings were swallowed up in a 27-8 scoring march by Altamont in the first half. Heather Burdick led the Longhorns with 13. Arrin Abeyta had 17 for East Carbon.
Nonregion
Beaver 63, Richfield 52: MacKenzie Gillins fired 24 points along with 11 rebounds as the Beavers kept their perfect record. Kristin Marchant added 16 points and eight rebounds for Beaver.
