Randy Hagen, 53, passed away February 19, 1996 in a local Salt Lake City hospital from Endocarditis.

He was born May 8, 1942 in Salt Lake City, the son of Raymond and Doris Hagen. He attended Cyprus High School and joined the Marine Corps. He married Owentta McDonald (divorced), Sandra Monghue (divorced), and spent the last years with his beautiful and devoted wife, Joyce Vander Meide Hagen.He owned and operated several businesses while working for 17 years with Kennecott Smelter. He was a devoted Catholic. He was a very strong man who survived cancer three times. He had ARDS and fought so hard. He came back and survived numerous illnesses and operations. He always worked very hard and loved his family and friends.

Survivors include: wife and longtime friend, Joyce Hagen; all his many loving children, Randy C. Hagen (Adele), McClore Hagen (Jackie), David Hagen, Kelly Hagen (Tiffany), Lore Cannon (Kevin), Anthony Martinez (Jeannette), Teresa Ortiz (Danny), Patricia Ortiz (Wally), Daniel Martinez; and 23 grandchildren; four sisters, Mary, Sandy, Debbie, and Diane, all of California; two brothers, Richard and Tim, both of California. Preceded in death by parents, and one brother, Tom, who died in Vietnam.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 South 9000 West, Magna, Utah, where friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the church.

Interment Valley View Memorial Park, under the direction of Valley View Funeral Home.
