A.J. Wood scored on a header with just seconds remaining, giving the United States a 2-1 victory over Norway in a tuneup for the men's soccer tournament at the Atlanta Olympics.Wood was also instrumental in setting up the first U.S. goal.

The women's game also was decided in the last minute when Norway's Hege Riise drilled a 26-yard free kick into the upper right corner, sending her country's under-23 team to a 2-1 victory over its U.S. counterpart.Riise put Norway ahead 1-0 in the 10th minute and the United States tied it in the 83rd.
