Martin Lawrence was not on drugs when he ran into a busy intersection armed, disoriented and screaming, hospital officials in Los Angeles say.
The comedian was being treated for "extreme exhaustion and dehydration," Cedars-Sinai Medical Center spokes-man Ron Wise said Wednesday. He said a drug screening determined "there was absolutely no medication of any type involved."The 30-year-old star of "A Thin Line Between Love & Hate" and the Fox TV comedy "Martin" was expected to be released soon.
Police detained Lawrence on Tuesday after the actor ran screaming into the intersection in suburban Sherman Oaks.
