Elizabeth Taylor Corr, 92, died June 12, 1996 in Concord, California.

A Kansas native, Mrs. Corr began teaching in a one-room school in Colorado at age 18. She later received her Master's degree from Pomona College and served for 18 years as head of Rowland Hall School in Salt Lake City.After her retirement, she moved to Big Sur, and then to Carmel, California where she was instrumental in founding the Monterey County Suicide Prevention Center.

She was preceded in death by her only child, John Corr, in 1995.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Patricia Corr; grandchildren, Constance Holmes, Elizabeth Olson, Sarah Corr and Daniel Corr. She had two great grandchildren, Heather and
