- First-ever Mr. Football used blazing speed to pile up some incredible numbers during his senior season. He averaged 11 yards per rush while gaining 1,647 yards and scoring 19 TDs on the ground. He also had five TDs on special teams, passed for two TDs and made three interceptions.

- Exceptional Eagle talent rushed for 1,226 yards and scored 20 touchdowns in guiding Skyline to a third-consecutive 5A state championship. He had 309 all-purpose yards and two TDs in the finals.

- Mr. Everything for the 4A champions. Ross was Timpview's top wide receiver, free safety, punter, place kicker and return specialist. He had 49 receptions for 1,128 yards and 10 TDs.
3A - EMMETT WHITE
Ben Lomond, 6-0, 185, Sr.
- Compiled some enormous statistics while carrying the Scots to a second-place finish. He ended with 8,532 yards of total offense in his four years. As a senior, he rushed for 1,949 yards with 21 TDs.
2A - ALAN MOURITSEN
Grantsville, 5-10, 175, Jr.
- Broke the single-season state record with 42 touchdowns - and he's only a junior. He rushed for over 2,300 yards, including 932 during the Cowboys' second-straight title run.

- Latest in string of top-notch option QBs for the champs. Rushed for 923 yards and 19 touchdowns and passed for 560 yards. Also handled punting duties.
5A - LANCE JENSEN, Alta, 6-3, 215, Sr.
- Three-year starter hurt opponents with legs and arm, having rushed for 496 yards and thrown for 1,584 yards and 20 TDs on 89-of-164 passing attempts.
4A - JOSH COVEY, Timpview, 6-0, 165, Sr.
- Could write a book on habits of an effective QB. He completed 158-of-280 passes for 2,404 yards and 24 touchdowns in leading the T-Birds to the title.
3A - BRADEN COOPER, Lehi, 6-2, 195, Sr.
- Passed for 2,078 yards and 20 TDs, and rushed for 623 yards and nine TDs. All-State basketball player also had seven INTs from his DB position.

- Great option leader rushed for 886 yards (8.3 yards/carry) and 23 TDs for undefeated champs. He also passed for 734 yards and seven scores.

- Versatile player racked up 1,918 total yards, had 10 games with 100-plus yards rushing. Rushed for 19 TDs and returned three kickoffs all the way.

- Rushed for 1,879 yards (7.7 yards per carry) and 20 TDs. Tough linebacker had two INTs, four fumble recoveries and two sacks.

- Gave the Hawks' offensive machine a deep threat. He hauled in 600 yards receiving and scored nine touchdowns through the air.

- Exciting star had 769 yards receiving (27.5 yards/catch), 731 yards rushing (8 yards/carry) and 17 TDs. Flashy Bengal also had five interceptions and blocked two kicks.

- Speedy wideout hauled in 53 receptions for 765 yards and 13 TDs for the Region 4 champs.

- Fantastic Flyer hauled in 54 receptions for 1,195 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also averaged 40.1 yards with one TD on kickoff returns.

- All-State basketball player led the Tigers in receiving and was a two-year starter at the defensive end position.

3A - JEREMY PIERCE, Uintah, 6-3, 215, Sr.
- Big target caught 27 passes for 586 yards and seven touchdowns. He was also a good defensive end.
2A - MORTY MARSHALL, Beaver, 6-1, 200, Sr.
- Scored seven touchdowns, including the game-winner three times. Was also the third-leading tackler for the Beavers.

5A - COOPER BLACKHURST, Brighton, 6-4, 225, Sr.
- Clogged the lanes up front, making 54 solo tackles and eight sacks. Also made seven receptions and two touchdowns from tight-end spot.

- Big-time recruit led Tigers in sacks and defensive points, and was their kicker, punter and a tight end. "Our team MVP." - Coach Paul Clark.

- A true Warrior as T-Ville's top defensive player. Was also a consistent fullback.

- Basketball standout gave Eagles a big presence up front. He had 21 solo tackles, seven sacks, six pass deflections and forced three fumbles.

- Tough two-way lineman recorded 43 unassisted stops and helped on 40 tackles in spearheading the Lancers' defense.

- Fought like a Caveman on both lines. Had 5.5 sacks, nine tackles for a loss, eight hurries and two fumble recoveries.

- Two-way starter was always tough in the trenches. He had 37 solo tackles, 16 unassisted tackles, five sacks and seven hurries.

- Defensive end was a terror to block. He registered 21 sacks and had eight knockdowns. He had a total of 91 tackles for the tough Trojan `D'.

- Two-year starter "just dominated the middle. He is a very aggressive kid. He plays with a lot of confidence." - Coach Mark Wootton.

- Three-year starter as DE and QB. Had nine sacks and recovered five of nine fumbles he caused. Also threw for nine TDs, ran for five and caught another.

- Excellent defender also received a lot of first-team votes as a quarterback after leading the Knights to the quarterfinals.

- Made 8 of 10 FGs, including a 50-yarder and four between 44-47 yards. Was perfect on 20 PATs. Also had 33 catches for 668 yards and two TDs.
4A - BRYAN JORGENSEN, Mtn. Crest, 6-0, 195, Sr.
- 4-year varsity kicker put 16-of-21 kickoffs in the end zone. Also made four field goals, the longest from 45 yards out.
3A - MARK LONDON, Morgan, 5-10, 220, Sr.
- Beefy kicker averaged 43.6 yards a punt and made 26 PATs and two FGs. He was also a three-year starter for the Trojans as a lineman.
2A - NELSON ALEMAN, Millard, 6-1, 160, Sr.
- Made a record 60 extra points and booted eight FGs, including a 42-yarder.

4A - DIRK MITCHELL, Bonneville, 5-8, 140, Sr.
- Averaged 43.7 yards a punt including a 73-yarder. Also made four FGs, 27-of-30 PATs and put 23 kickoffs in the end zone.
3A - JAKE HUNT, Lehi, 6-2, 245, Sr.
- Two-way lineman booted 20 punts for a whopping average of 46.9 yards. Put 35 of 61 kickoffs in the end zone, made six FGs and 39-of-40 PATs.
2A - T.J. BATES, North Summit, 6-1, 170, Jr.
- Averaged 39 yards a punt, including a long boot of 72 yards. Was also the Braves' top receiver.
Return specialists
5A - DAVID FIEFIA, Hunter, 5-8, 175, Jr.
- Big playmaker for Region 2 champs. Scored 20 TDs and rushed for over 1,200 yards. "Tremendous speed and instincts." - Coach John Lambourne.
4A - NATE SUNDLOFF, Murray, 5-9, 160, Sr.
- Did it all for Spartans. Had 54 solo tackles and six INTs; scored twice and averaged 46.5 yards on kickoffs; and rushed for 806 yards and five TDs.

- Farmer touched paydirt 20 times and racked up 2,279 all-purpose yards. He rushed for 1,317 yards and returned three kicks for TDs.
