Wraps are the really hot restaurant item these days. Wrap fans like the idea of consuming a balanced meal (meat, vegetables, cheese) from a hand-held rolled tortilla or folded pita bread.

Here are two wraps you're not likely to find on restaurant menus:Mediterranean Madness - Fill a flour tortilla or warm pita with garden vegetables, chopped zucchini, cucumber, onion, tomato, plus sliced olives and crumbled feta cheese. Season with some sliced basil leaves and splash of dill vinaigrette. Or just use Italian dressing and insert fresh basil leaves from your garden.

Caribbean Wraps - To fill four 10-inch flour tortillas, start with 2 cups hot, cooked rice. Saute some onion with mild green chilies and a minced garlic clove in 2 teaspoons oil. Add 12 ounces peeled medium shrimp, some grated lime peel and dried thyme. Sprinkle with ground black pepper and cinnamon. Saute until the shrimp is barely cooked.

Add 1 1/2 cups halved seedless grapes. Sprinkle with lime juice and hot sauce. Remove from heat and mix with rice and 1/2 cup bottled mango chutney. Season to taste with salt.
