Chen-Yuan Lee, a pharmacologist by profession, will deliver a speech titled "Taiwan's Future and Taiwan's Independence." The tiny island on the Tropic of Cancer is governed by an elected president and assembly, but a panel of Chinese politicians plans to take over Taiwan's legislature in July. Lee's party is resisting the threat.The speech will take place in Room 105 of the Engineering and Mining Classroom Building.
