Helen Davis Jensen, 73, passed away March 22, 1997 after a long illness.

She was born Dec. 31, 1923 in Pocatello, Idaho to Lila Bloxham Davis Peterson and William Ira Davis. She married Emanuel P. Jensen Aug. 1, 1942 in Logan, Utah. They were sealed to each other and their four children July 19, 1951 in the Logan LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she held many positions including a general board calling with the Relief Society Magazine. She was also a member of the DUP. She attended Utah State University where she met and married her beloved husband. She was a resident of Magna, Utah for 50 years. She and her husband shared such hobbies as fishing, hiking, camping, traveling and as rock hounds. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry, dancing, current events. She was employed by several companies, spending most of her time with Hercules.She is survived by her children: Teena Gay (Dean) Hill, Douglas E., Jude Ann, and Steve R. (Ellen); sister, Estella Murate'; brothers: Ira Davis and Bill Davis; six half-brothers and sisters; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Henry Rio Peterson, whom she dearly loved, and a sister, Faye Williams.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 26, 1997, 12 noon at the Lakeridge 3rd Ward, 3150 So. 7700 West. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 So., Magna and Wed. 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
