On the evening of April 2, 1997 Jim and Darla were victims of a plane crash near the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
They were owners of Eldredge Rent A Car.They are survived by two sons, Dave and Don; two sons Lance and Emery preceded them in death.
Jim is survived by his parents, L. Emery and Audrey Eldredge; a brother, L. Joel (Sunny) Eldredge; a sister, Janette (Gus) Pack. A brother, Jeffery L. Eldredge preceded him in death. Jim is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Darla is survived by her mother, Dorothy H. Lance; her father, Darl Lance preceded her in death; Also by three sisters, Judy (Wayne) Morris; Malvina (William) Dryer; Linda (Mike) Allen; and various aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 26th, 1997 at 12 noon in the Winder 3rd Ward, 1250 East 4530 South, where friends may call Saturday, 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.
