I was born Feb 21, 1957. On March 14, 1980 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, I was married to the man of my dreams, Joel Ray Dimick, who cared for me tenderly while I was dying.
On May 13, 1997 I left my husband and our five children: Jonathan (15), Jill (14), Jared (13), Jacob (9), Jordan (7). I loved them so much and how it breaks my heart to leave them. My parents are George W. Labrum and the late Betty Jeanne Nagle Labrum. My husband's parents are Merrill R. and Myrle Dimick. I was blessed with wonderful brothers and sisters, Suzanne (Terry) Larsen, Laurel (James) Gaskill, Nadine (Tad) Goaslind, Alene Andersen, Thomas (Kathy) Labrum, Mel (Lynn) Labrum, David (Athena) Labrum and Evelyn (Reed) Thomson.I love life! I especially loved being with Joel and our children. I served my Heavenly Father on a mission to Tallahassee, Florida. I enjoyed my many church callings. I wish to thank my family and friends who have helped me and my family through the past four years of fighting breast cancer. I was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and was one of the charter members of the Breast Cancer Coalition of Utah. I went to Washington D.C. several times, with other women who also suffer from this cancer, to lobby for money in researching this disease. Thank you Dr. John Stewart and Dr. Greg Litton.
