Loving husband, father and brother, Shawn Matthew Damron, 25, passed away May 21, 1997 from injuries received in an industrial accident.
Born June 28, 1971 in Hoopeston, Illinois to Dale and Diana Lee Zakrysek Damron. Married Jennifer Lambson April 9, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Member of the Catholic church. Graduate of East Carbon High School, Class of 1989. Currently employed at Joy Manufacturing in Price.Shawn enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and lifting weights. He always took great pride in his appearance and especially loved playing with his children, Bryce and Austin. Shawn was a loving and kind-hearted person who touched everyone who passed his way. He will be dearly missed by all and we will always carry him in our hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Damron, Price; two sons, Bryce and Austin Damron, Price; father, Dale Damron, SLC; three brothers and one sister, Duane and Season Damron, SLC; Tammy Damron, Wyoming; Ricky Damron, Wyoming; Tracy Damron; grandparents, Matt and Mary Zakrysek, East Carbon; Opal Damron, Price; nieces and nephews, Dillon, Jessye, Christopher, Adrien and Amber; aunt and uncle, Rosemary and Doral Goodsell, SLC; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Darrell and Deanna Lambson, Price; brothers-in-law, Darin and Daris Lambson, Price. Preceded in death by mother, Diana, and grandfather, Gene.
Funeral mass, Tuesday, May 27, 1997, 10 a.m. Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic church. Vigil service Monday evening 7 p.m. Mitchell Chapel, where friends may call daily from 9 a.m.9 p.m. Committal service: Cliff View Cemetery, Price.
