The Utah Arts Council's Arts in Education Program is seeking applications from artists who wish to be included in an arts education resource directory. The directory will be made available to schools, museums, art centers, social services centers, hospitals, festivals and non-profit organizations. Applications must be received by July 16. The Utah State division of Facilities Construction and Management and the Utah Arts Council announce a "Request for Qualifications" for visual artists to participate in a public art commission for the new Skaggs Biology Building on the University of Utah campus. All national artists and artist teams are eligible and encouraged to apply. Request for Qualifications applications are available through the Utah Public Art program of the UAC. Applications are due Friday, June 20. For more information, call UAC at 533-5895.
Art Access is accepting exhibit proposals from individual artists and organizations for 1988. Proposed exhibits may include work by emerging and established artists, artists with and without disabilities, exhibits speaking to social issues, children's exhibits and exhibits focusing on, and/or presented by under-served groups, organizations and individuals.
