Marc Francis Schreuder's parole should have ended last month. Instead, the state Board of Pardons and Parole restarted it in June.
Schreuder admitted fatally shooting his grandfather, millionaire businessman Frank Bradshaw, but he said his mother forced him to do it. He pleaded guilty to murder, then testified against his mother, Frances Schreuder, who was also convicted of murder. The board's administrative assistant, John Green, said the reason for the decision isn't public information so he couldn't comment on it.
According to public documents regarding the decision, the conditions of the renewed parole term include completing mental health therapy, paying $10,000 in restitution and no contact with a specific woman.
