Rick Springer, 51, died August 19, 1997 at his home in Heber City.

Born July 12, 1946 in Heber City, Utah to Beryl Ott and Tura Mary Ann Holm Springer. Graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and Utah State University. He served his country in the National Guard. Loved dogs and nature. Skilled builder, mechanic and all around handyman. Rehabilitation counselor for the state of Utah for 28 years. Counseled and cared for family, friends and others.From the wings of a Red-tailed Hawk, he will be looking out for us.

Survived by best friend, Kay Fulton, Sandy; wife, Chan Springer, Sandy; mother, Pleasant Grove; brother, Jerry Springer, Midway; five nieces and one nephew; and Beloved Dogs. Preceded in death by his father, and sister, Norma Jean Springer.

Memorial services will be held Saturday August 23, 1997 at 1 p.m. in the Midway Stake Center (165 N. Center). Followed by a celebration, place to be announced.
