Inez Tennant Swenson, 72, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away January 28, 1998, after a short illness.

Born September 30, 1925 in American Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Joseph M. and Appie Harmon Tennant. Married Richard M. Swenson on August 1, 1946 in the Logan, LDS Temple. Inez was a devoted homemaker and her greatest love was her family. Through her life she served in ward and stake callings and as a temple worker in the Logan Temple.An accomplished artist, she completed a BS degree in Art from Utah State University. Her beautiful paintings will be treasured by family and friends, and the value that she placed on education is a legacy to her posterity.

She is survived by her husband; five children, Linda K. (Robert) Margetts, of Farmington; Douglas H. (Laraine), of Logan; currently serving as president of the California Arcadia Mission, Laura L. (Bud) Stanford, of Centerville; David R. (Mary), of Georgetown, Massachusetts; Charles M. (Melanie), of North Logan; 23 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She is also survived by six sisters and a brother. Preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 am in the Logan 20th Ward chapel, 875 North 1500 East. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, Friday evening from 6-8 pm and at the church on Saturday from 8:30-9:45 am. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
