Our beloved son and brother, Jesse Evan Bott, 23, of Orem, died Saturday, November 7, 1998, near Pocatello, Idaho, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
He was born May 18, 1975, in Provo, Utah, a son of Evan W. and Laurie Stokes Bott. He was a 1993 graduate of Orem High School. He was a member of the wrestling team. He was attending Utah Valley State College. He loved to play the guitar, football, skiing, sand volleyball, and all outdoor sports. He also loved his friends and their trips to Lake Powell.He was a very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission to the Australia, Adelaide Mission and was an Eagle Scout.
He is survived by his parents of Orem; his brothers and sisters, Ryan, Breanne, and Ashley, all of Orem; Elder Cory Bott, serving in the Massachusetts, Boston Mission; his grandparents, George and Fran Stokes, Orem; his great-grandmother, Pat Fullmer, Midvale; and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 11, 1998, at 11 a.m. in the Northridge Stake Center, 1674 North 200 West, Orem. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, and Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the stake center. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
