Louise Miriam Crawford, age 81, died January 30, 1998 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a proud great-great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. Born to Vernard Thomas Crawford and Miriam Hendrickson Crawford on october 19, 1916 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Clarence LeRoy "Ted" Lane on February 18, 1937 in Salt Lake City. Attended East High School and was a member of the LDS Church. Worked for American Linen Supply for 30 years. Mother did beautiful handwork which she shared with her family and friends.Survived by her children, Peggy (Fred) Stoltenberg, Melvin (Margie) Lane, Carolyn "Patsy" (Ray) Jones, and Penny Facer; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers, LeRoy V. Crawford of Orville, CA and Shirld Crawford.

Preceded in death by her husband; brothers, LaMar Crawford and Arlton Crawford; sister, Gladys Fivas.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 1998 at 11 a.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary (6500 S. Redwood Rd., West Jordan). Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 2, 1998 and one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates.
