A Los Angeles accounting firm will handle the fund set up to collect donations to defray Monica Lewinsky's legal expenses, her lawyer said Friday.

Attorney William Ginsburg said the accounting firm of Tanner, Mainstain, Hoffer & Peyrot in Los Angeles offered to handle the efforts, which began earlier this week when a New York non-profit group offered a $10,000 donation to Lewinsky.Ginsburg said he had nothing to do with the firm's selection or the operation of the legal defense fund.

"They started it. But I will say this. I have checked them out and they are a nonpartisan, respected certified accounting firm," he said.
