Lawrence Garlock, age 79, passed away early Sunday morning, March 8, 1998, in Salt Lake City from cancer.
Born March 31, 1918, in Brashear, Missouri, to Elbert Garlock and Lulu Benstine Garlock. He married Dorthea Ann Jensen on May 1, 1940, in Salt Lake City. She preceded in him in death.Served in the Armed Forces and in the CC Corps. Worked for the Lang Co., Graver Tank Co., Surgical Supply Co., I.P.C.O., and retired from Beehive Machinery Inc. in 1982.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dogs, and just tinkering around the house. He was a great father and my best friend.
Survived by son, Jon Garlock of Salt Lake City, UT; brother and sisters, Marvin and Velma Garlock of Lincoln, NB; Lorraine Gentry of Seguim, WA; Marian and Alvin Gallion of Isle, MN.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 1 p.m. at the Olpin Mortuary, 288 No. Main, Heber City. Friends and family may call from 11:45 a.m.- 12:45 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Heber City Cemetery with full Military Honors.
