Norman Rockwell, meet Mark Twain.
More than 300 magazine covers that Rockwell illustrated for The Saturday Evening Post went on display Wednesday in Hannibal, Mo., the boyhood home of the author Twain.The Post covers are part of an exhibit housed in the New Mark Twain Museum in downtown Hannibal, about 100 miles north of St. Louis.
Also housed in the museum are 15 original Rockwell oil paintings that were used to illustrate special editions of Twain's classics "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." The exhibit runs through Aug. 15.
