Misini Lolohea Fifita, age 68, passed away January 18, 1999, in Salt Lake City.

She was born Sept. 18, 1930, in Pangai Haapai Tonga to Taniela and Ana Loiloi Huavi. She attended Catholic school in Pangai. She met her beloved husband, Hilamani Ofakimuli Fifita in Vavau and they were married in the LDS Church. She was loving, kind, and beautiful. She loves her children and family members. She loves her church callings and was an active member of the LDS Church. She served two times as a full time proselyting missionary with her husband in Tonga. She also served a full time Temple mission in Tonga from 1995-1996 for 18 months. She was always willing to help and always very happy.She is survived by her husband, of Salt Lake City; and six sons and five daughters, Leaine (Silia) Fifita, Viliami (Pua) Fifita, Hinemoa Sofeni Heimuli, Olivia (Viliami) Pulu, Hosea (Lose) Fifita, Tonga (Tiana) Fifita, Samisoni (Lolini) Fifita, Seneti (Sione) Katoa, Ana (Lopeti) Panisi, Sau (Ann) Fifita and Oli (Pelisi) Fonua; 43 grandchildren. Misini had six brothers and four sisters.

Misini will always be remembered and have a special place in all our hearts. We love you. Folau a. Ofa lahi atu.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, 10 a.m. at the Granger 8th Ward, 3150 West 3985 South. Friends my call at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Thursday, Jan. 21st from 6-11 p.m. and also Friday, Jan. 22nd from 6-11 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
