Mildred Pack Jolley passed away on January 1, 1999.
She was born July 15, 1923, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Wehrli Douglas Pack and Ruth Fisher Pack. She married Clifford Dale Jolley on May 14, 1943. They were sealed together for time and all eternity in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. Millie is an elegant lady, uniquely creative and talented, a great mother, a marvelous cook, a kind, tender and loving wife. She supported her husband in his love of flying and in his service to our nation as a decorated Air Force pilot. She even logged her own flight hours towards a pilot's license. She also performed synchronized swimming, modeled, and won the title in the Mrs. Utah pageant. She loved to golf, winning several amateur championships. She is positive. She loves the gospel of Jesus Christ.She remained at the side of her dear husband throughout his life-long bout with diabetes. They shared a beautiful love story, sharing happiness and adventure, seldom apart during 52 years of marriage, separated only by death, now finally together again. She will be missed very, very much by her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her brothers, Ramon and Eldon Pack; and by her brother-in-law, Paul Slack. She is survived by her children, Dale and Shirlene Jolley, Darrell and Cory Jolley, Renee and Stan Coon, Craig and Dawnette Jolley; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her brothers and sisters, Douglas and Ione Pack, Lucille Slack, Murval Pack, Lilia Martindale, Wallace and Mary Lou Pack, Annette and John Frederickson, Melvin and Paula Pack, and Donna and Ron Eggertson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 5th, at 1 p.m. at the Bountiful North Canyon Stake Center, 965 East Oakwood Dr., Bountiful. Friends may call Monday, January 4th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Tuesday at the church from 12 noon to 12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
