Smaller local parks rather than a large Millennial Park are on the Town Council agenda for Tuesday.
Former Town Councilwoman Pam Stanger several years ago proposed the city put money away for a full-size park, but now officials say the small Utah County town would be better served with smaller neighborhood parks. The money that was put away for the large parks was used to complete the city's new tennis courts. Town Hall meetings begin at 6 p.m. with a "Meet the Candidates" session, followed by a work session at 6:45 p.m. and the regular Town Council meeting at 7 p.m. The Town Hall is at 80 E. Park Drive.
