Services Sat. Nov. 27, 12 noon. Gary L. Sears, 37, beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle and friend, died in an automobile accident on Nov. 20, 1999.
Born July 22, 1962 in Murray, Utah to Bruce Sears and Jean Fuhriman.Gary co-owned a transmission repair business in Bakersfield, Ca. and drove a truck for Precision Foods. Prior to that he was a distribution and transportation manager for both Frito-Lay in Bakersfield and Keebler, Inc. in Los Angeles. Gary was a person of discipline and accomplishment. His drive and effort for an education was a goal he set and accomplished on his own. He strove for excellence which was his trademark.
Survivors: mother, Jean (Kim) Fuhriman; father, Bruce (Sandy) Sears; sisters, Cassie (Lynn) Thomas; Diane (Scott) Workman; brother, Mark Sears; grandparents, DeMar and Therma Brimhall.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, at 12 noon. Viewing is at 9:30-11:30 in the LDS Chapel, 8060 So 615 East, Sandy, UT.
