Pisila Akolea Tupou Manu, 62, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away with her family by her side on August 30, 1999 in her home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born April 9, 1939 in Otea, Tonga to Ofa Faupula and Akolea Tupou. She is a twin to Lua Tupou, second oldest of eight children. Married Iki Toutouofa Manu on September 28, 1974. Her family was the love and strength of her life. She has five children, Finau O. Manu (Norton); Halalose Manu; Moses Manu; Sulia Manu and Linda Manu; also two grandchildren, J. Russell Norton and Moses Jr. Manu; two in-laws, Robert Norton and Meagan Eoff Manu. Also survived by one sister and five brothers. God be with you until we meet again.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 4, 1999 at 10 a.m. at the LDS 25th Ward Chapel, 1145 W. 500 South. Friends may call Friday evening from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the church. Services are under the direction of Memorial Estates Mortuary. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Rd.
