Born Aug 3, 1927 in Faleloa, Haapai, Tonga. Died 5:20 p.m. Jan 11, 2000.

He became a member of the LDS Church in 1948. Married his first wife in 1949 and she passed away in 1964. Married his second wife in 1965. He had 10 children from his first marriage and 11 from the second, 21 children in all. He served three proselytizing missions and two labor missions for the Church. He served as a Branch President for eight years, a Bishop for four years, a counselor to a Stake President for six years, a Stake President for seven years, a counselor to three Temple Presidents of the Tonga Temple and was a Stake Patriarch at the end of his journey. He was sealed to his wives and children and parents in the New Zealand Temple in 1975.He is survived by his wife Salote, seven sons and 12 daughters.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 19, 2000 at the Bennion 5th Ward, 6030 South Prairie View Dr., at 11 a.m. with a viewing on January 18, 7-10 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road and one hour prior at the Church.
