The Utah Transit Authority started its season ski bus service to Big and Little Cottonwood canyons Saturday, Nov. 18, just in time for the ski year.

However, this early bus service is not every day, and the next service to be offered will be on Friday, Nov. 24, Saturday, Nov. 25, and Sunday, Nov. 26.

Buses on route 92 depart from the TRAX station at 7200 South every 20 minutes in the morning, going to Brighton and Solitude.

Route 98 buses will also depart from both the TRAX station at 7200 South and also the Park & Ride lot at 9400 South and 2000 East, about every 20 minutes, going to Alta and Snowbird.

The UTA ski bus program has been operating for 25 years, providing service to more than 276,000 skiers.
