MASHANTUCKET, Conn. — Ray Oliveira won the vacant NABF super lightweight title Friday night, outpointing Vince Phillips at Foxwoods Resort Casino.

Judge George Smith scored it 117-111 and Crystal White had it 117-113, both for Oliveira. Glenn Feldman scored it 114-114.

Oliveira, 32, of New Bedford, Mass., improved to 42-7-1 with his 13 straight victory. He outpointed Charles Murray in 1997 to capture the NABF junior welterweight title.

Phillips, 37, of Pensacola, Fla., dropped to 41-6-1. He is a former IBF junior welterweight champion.
