The Utah Spiders first game is May 5, and the Women's Premier League Soccer team has basically been finalized.

Most of the Spiders are originally from Utah, with a few exceptions of women who ended up in Utah to play college soccer or other soccer-related entities. And almost all of the players are still in college, but because it's a semi-pro league, the players aren't paid. The following players have committed to play for the Spiders in their inaugural season, with college and local high school in parentheses:

Sarah Reading (BYU), Maren Hendershot (BYU), Kim Lowe (BYU, Mountain View), Staci Reynolds (BYU, Granite), Michelle Jensen (BYU, Olympus), Karen Wunderli (BYU, Bountiful), Sarah Higham (BYU), Amy Kofoed (Utah, Northridge), Courtney Johanson (Utah, Skyline), Jen Williams (Utah, Viewmont), Shaunna Gurr (Utah, Woods Cross), Bernie Hogan (Utah, West Jordan), Jordan Krieger (William & Mary, Park City), Amber Bailey (Weber State, Northridge), Celeste Collins (Weber State, Woods Cross), Meagan Thunnel (Weber State, Mountain Crest), Debbie VudhiVadhana (Weber State, Ben Lomond), Caroline Putz (Washington, Bountiful), Dana Dibble (Olympus), Joanna Barney (Utah, Brighton), Rebecca Kemp (U. of Findlay), MacKenzie Hyer (Utah State, Alta), Heather Cox (Utah State), Ashley Cracroft (Utah State, Olympus), Brigid Turner (Utah State) and Jill Jakowick (North Carolina).
