Ina Marie Ogden Sheets, age 100, of Orem, died Friday, April 7, 2000 in American Fork.

She was born of goodly parents, Edward Garratt and Louisa C.E. Johnson Ogden, in Lindon, Utah. She was the sixth of eight children including Edward, Sadie, Louise, Ella, June, Etta, and Ora, all of whom pre-deceased her. Ina married Leland Bitner Sheets in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 15, 1929. He passed away Dec. 8, 1978.They have three children, Robert O. (Roberta) Sheets, Leland O. (Lois) Sheets, Kathryn (Paul) Schramm; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Although the Singer is gone, her melody will linger on in the lives of all those whose hearts have been touched by her gratitude, her sense of humor and her love. Her faith and testimony were strong to the end of her life's journey. She had the distinction of living in three centuries. Her children and descendants, relatives and multitudes of friends have benefited from her example of living life with joy and laughter.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Heritage Convalescent Care Center in American Fork for their loving care. They also would thank those friends and staff at the Seville Retirement Center in Orem, where she resided for 12 years.

Services will be held 12 noon Wednesday, April 12th in the Orem Park Seville Branch, 114 South 400 West, Orem. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, and Wednesday 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in the Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City.
