Harvey Keitel chose a rooftop with a stunning view of Jerusalem's walled Old City as the scene for his wedding to Israeli-born actress Daphna Kastner.
Wearing a casual black suit and no tie, Keitel escorted Kastner along cobblestones to the private ceremony Sunday night at the Beit Shmuel hall. On the roof of the simple, modern structure, the two exchanged vows with a backdrop of the honey-colored stones of the Old City's Tower of David, lit up by floodlights.
"Very efficient guys here," he said half-jokingly as security guards quickly ushered the couple past a crowd of photographers.
Keitel, 62, was in Israel promoting his new movie, "The Grey Zone," at the Haifa film festival.
"I'm happy to be in Israel," he said before the wedding. "Thanks for welcoming us."
