Vernon J. Tipton, 81, of Springville, Utah, passed away Nov. 6, 2001.
A World War II veteran and retired professor of Zoology at Brigham Young University, he was also a stake president, mission president, and LDS representative in Amman, Jordan.
The viewing will be at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 So., on Thursday, November 7, from 6-8. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. at the Springville Stake Center, 698 Kolob Cir., preceded by a viewing from 12:45- 1:45.
