Diamond Rental, which provides rental equipment to contractors and homeowners, announced Thursday that it has purchased Universal Rent-All of Ogden.
Diamond Rental now has eight locations along the Wasatch Front, including the new Ogden location at 3790 Kiesel Ave. According to a company press release, the new location will allow Diamond to expand while better serving existing customers who have needs in Ogden.
"We see a great deal of opportunity throughout the entire Intermountain West," Mark Clawson, Diamond Rental president, said in a press release. "Diamond Rental has become a strong regional company, and we plan to continue the company's growth."
Diamond was acquired by Rubicon Venture Partners, a private investment group, in April 2000. Rubicon was co-founded in 1999 by Mark Clawson and Troy Porras to find investment opportunities in a variety of industries.
