Anna Kristine Hansen, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt passed away peacefully Thurs-day, Aug. 23, 2001 at the Cashmere Convalescent Center in Cashmere, WA.
Anna was born on December 13, 1918 in Horsens, Denmark to Anna Sophie and Jens Rasmus Pedersen.
Anna immigrat-ed to the United States in 1952 and lived in Salt Lake City, Utah until 1992 when she moved to Wenatchee, Washington. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. She loved music and celebrated her love of God through song as well as other church activities.
Anna provided great love and joy to her family and leaves a great legacy. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Maria Hansen of Wenatchee, Washington; Ronald and Diana Hansen of Bountiful, Utah; one daughter and son-in-law, Kirsten and Alan Stock of Bryce Canyon, Utah; 24 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; two loving sisters, Karin Pedersen and Hansa Nielsen of Horsens Denmark; and her beloved niece Magrethe Sorensen of Renton, Washington.
She was preceded in death by one son, Hans John Hansen; and one grandson, Jeffery Aaron Hansen.
In Wenatchee, a family viewing will be held on Friday, August 24, 2001, 2-5 p.m. at Telford's Chapel of the Valley in East Wenatchee.
In Salt Lake City, friends and family are invited to celebrate Anna's life at a memorial service, which will be held Monday, Aug, 27th, at Evans and Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Concluding services, internment will follow in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
