M. Curtis Price, 62, passed away peacefully Jan. 18, 2002, surrounded by family at his home in Orem after a valiant battle with kidney cancer.

Much of his career in the Motion Picture and Television Industry was spent at MGM Studios in Hollywood California as a Re-Recording Sound Mixer. He relocated to Utah to work at the LDS Motion Picture Studio in Orem. He spent 7 1/2 years there before failing health forced his early retirement.

His life of activity in the LDS Church began with the visit of his Primary Teacher, Sister Astle. His dedication to the church was cemented by a handshake from President David O. McKay at the Los Angeles Temple dedication. He was active in the LDS Church and served in many callings, including Bishop for 7 1/2 years and Stake President for nine years. He served as Priesthood Quorum Greeter during his final year. It was a calling he loved.
