Salt Lake-based Gentner Communications Corp.'s name change to ClearOne Communications Inc. became official Wednesday.
The company will continue to trade under the symbol GTNR until March 15, after which it will trade under CLRO.
The company announced the change in mid-November.
ClearOne offers voice, video and Web conferencing products and services and has wholly owned subsidiaries in Ireland and Germany.

ClearOne will function as a holding company and retain Gentner as a division. Conferencing products will continue to be branded with the Gentner name.
