David Watson Doxey, 71, Monument Park 13th Ward, Salt Lake Monument Park Stake, called as president of the Madrid Spain Temple, succeeding President W. Clive Barney. President Doxey's wife, Joanne Bushman Doxey, will serve as temple matron. President Doxey served as counselor in the Salt Lake Temple presidency, sealer, mission president, high councilor and bishop. He is a retired president of a real estate development and property management company. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Graham Hayes and Leone B. Watson Doxey.

Sister Doxey is a former counselor in the Relief Society general presidency, Primary general board member, assistant temple matron and director of Church building hosting. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Bliss L. and Eva Murdoch Bushman.


Richard Wayne Hardy, 73, Foothill Ward, San Jose California Stake, called as president of the Cochabamba Bolivia Temple, succeeding President Vernon A. Bingham. President Hardy's wife, Joanne Arcella Davey Hardy, will serve as temple matron. President Hardy served as a full-time missionary six times, five with Sister Hardy. They served in Chile, Central America, Mexico, California and Argentina. He is a former mission president's counselor, high councilor, bishop and temple ordinance worker.

Sister Hardy is a former auxiliary president and counselor, seminary teacher and five-time missionary. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to C. Leland and Ardella Anderson Davey.


George Mearns, 71, Carlingford Ward, Sydney Australia Greenwich Stake, called as president of the Sydney Australia Temple, succeeding President P. Bruce Mitchell. President Mearns' wife, Mary Rafferty Mearns, will serve as temple matron. President Mearns is a temple president's counselor, former high councilor, bishop, regional welfare agent and welfare services missionary. He is a retired cabinet maker and hardware store manager. He was born in Wishaw, Scotland, to George and Margaret Nichol Smillie Mearns.

Sister Mearns is an ordinance worker, and former ward and stake Relief Society president, Primary president, Welfare Services missionary and counselor in Young Women presidency. She was born in Renrewshire, Scotland, to William Bryce and Catherine Rafferty.


Tekehu Moeava Munanui, 63, LeGrand Ward, Salt Lake Park Stake, called as president of the Papeete Tahiti Temple, succeeding President Louis P. Arhan. President Munahui's wife, Henriette Cheung Munanui, will serve as temple matron. A stake financial clerk, President Munanui served as mission president, high councilor, stake clerk and bishop. He is a translator for the Church. He was born in Hao, Tuamotu, Tahiti, to Tehono Tu and Ninirei Katomea Tekehu Munanui.

Sister Munanui served with her husband as he presided over a mission and as stake Young Women president's counselor and secretary, and as a Primary worker. She was born in Uturoa, Raiatea, Tahiti, to Asion Yim Yiu and Marereva Raitupu Tefaaite Cheung.


Joachim Edward Scholz, 69, Great Falls Ward, Mclean Virginia Stake, called as president of the Washington D.C. Temple, succeeding President Sterling D. Colton. President Scholz' wife, Lois June Groves Scholz, will serve as temple matron. President Scholz, a temple president's counselor, is a former mission president, stake president, bishop and home teacher. He is a retired U.S. Air Force officer. He was born in Berlin, Germany, to Eduard and Hildegard E.A. Scheewe Scholz.
