Our dear wife, mother and friend, Lemasaniai P. Brown, 46, passed away at her home Nov. 6, 2002.
Lema was born June 20, 1956 in American Samoa. She married Michael L. Brown on Oct. 29, 1988 in Huntington Beach, California. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Lema loved serving the Polynesian community, the community at large and her church. She loved serving people in every way she could. Lema was the anchor of her family and will be missed greatly.
She is survived by her husband Michael, sons Jason and Leato, one grandson Jeffery and one on the way; brothers and sisters Louie Schroeder, Faamausili William Schroeder, Tala Johnson, Tapusagi Schroeder, Piti Pogi, Julie Faagata, Malae Faye Fa'alele. Preceded in death by parents, sister Afatia Toafe; brothers, Posigi and I'uogafa Pogi.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 11, at 11:00 at the Pesega Samoan Chapel, 4260 West 5215 South. Family and friends may call at the Church on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 9-10:30 p.m. prior to services. Interment Valley View Cemetery, 4335 West 4100 South.
