Our beloved son, David Brett Cartwright returned to his Heavenly Father Feb. 11, 2002 due to injuries sustained in a automobile accident.
Son of David and (Maria) Cartwright and Shelly and (Terry) Petty. Born April 15, 1983 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was fun loving and free spirited. He embraced life to the fullest. He loved fishing and the outdoors. He was adventurous and carefree. We will miss his wonderful sense of humor, his contagious laughter, his smile and his beautiful blue eyes.
Survived by his parents; sisters, Aneke (Jason) Viall, Melissa (Anthony) Pollock, Julie and Nichole; brother, Ryan; nephews, Gavin, Tayden and Malachi; grandparents, Don and Lillian Cartwright and Floyd Brazell and Jean (Dale) Giese. Brett is loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his cousin, Jarrod Clausen.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2002 at 12 noon at the Bennion Heights 4th Ward, 3045 West Bernina Dr. (5820 South), Taylorsville. The family will receive friends at a viewing Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, and one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the Ward.
