Veterans who receive their primary care and mental health services at the VA Ogden Community Based Outpatient Clinic will soon have a new facility.
The VA Salt Lake City Health Care System will close its current Ogden location on April 8. A new clinic will open its doors at 982 Chambers St., south Ogden, on April 15.
The new 7,800-square-foot facility has 12 examination rooms and a special procedures room.
The Ogden area facility handled 6,500 outpatient health care appointments for more than 1,800 Ogden area veterans during fiscal year 2001.
