After long suffering with Alzheimer's our loving mother and wife passed away March 23, 2002.
Born Jan 1, 1923 in Downey, ID to Westley Kent and Mabel Margret Nielsen. She graduated from Arimo High School in 1940 and from Idaho Falls LDS Hospital School of Nursing in 1944. As a Registered Nurse she practiced in Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado and lastly Salt Lake City at the LDS Hospital and for 37 years at the Memorial Medical Center. She was proud of her profession and enjoyed every single day she worked. She was fortunate to care for and have the association of many wonderful people though out her career. Married Paul T. Walton July 21, 1960.
Preceded in death by her father; mother; and sisters, Jean Kent Moss, Oline Kent Morrison. Survived by her husband; daughter, Kathleen Marley, Aptos, CA; sister, Alice Kent Hansen, North Fork, ID; brothers, Sidney (Gloria) Kent, Arimo, ID, Grant ( Arveda) Kent, Island Park, ID, Marlin (Neta Faye) Kent, Inkom, ID, Gordon (Florence) Kent, Tremonton, UT; many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Services, Holladay Cottonwood Mor-tuary Chapel, 4760 Highland Dr, Tues. March 26, 2002, 12 noon. Viewing, Mon. 6-8 p.m., Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary and one hour prior to service. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
