Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend, Cathy Westover Boatright, passed away in her Sandy home unexpectedly dur-ing the early morning of March 23, 2002.
Cathy was born in Barstow, CA Dec 17, 1942 to her loving parents Ken and Jena Westover. The three of them later settled in Redondo Beach, CA where they were soon joined by a new baby boy, Larry Westover. They were later sealed as an eternal family in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.
Cathy attended Aviation High School where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Dennis Boatright. They had six children together and later divorced.
Cathy was a member of the LDS church and continued to take her children to church, where she served for many years in the Primary and Relief Society.
Cathy is survived by her six children, Laura Boatright, Jim (Sara) Boatright, Noel (Michael) Boatright, Jennifer (Derek) Keller, Carol Boatright, Josh (Michele) Boatright; 13 grandchildren; and one brother, Larry (Karen) Westover. Preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Tanner.
Mother enjoyed being with the ones that she loved. She especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren, and they loved being with her. She will be greatly missed. We love you, Mom.
Services will be Wed. March 27, 2002. 11 a.m., Sandy Mount Jordan 3rd Ward chapel, 8950 S. 400 E. Friends may call Tues. 6-8 p.m., Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E, and at the church Wed. one hour prior to the service. Interment and graveside dedication will be Thurs. March 28, 2002, 12 noon, Rock Point Cemetery, Vernal, UT. Funeral Directors: Holbrook Mortuary.
