Dr. Thomas S. Fox, 60, of Bow, NH, died Monday June 10, 2002 at his home after a long illness.
He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Samuel Ross and Blanche (South) Fox.
For the last 30 years, Tom had worked in community mental health, caring for the most disabled people. Tom was the past president of the NH Psychiatry Society and vice president of the NH Medical Society. He spent the majority of his time caring for people with severe mental illness; developmental disabilities, and alcohol and other drug use disorders. He always felt it was an honor and privilege to work with his clients. Tom felt they gave him hope and he always received more than he gave.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Melinda (Beam) Fox of Bow; five daughters, four sons. He also leaves four brothers, S. Ross Fox, Richard Fox, Charles Fox, Edward Fox; one sister, Joyce Buchner.
