11/17/70 ~ 10/3/03
Shane Rex Warenski, amazing husband father and friend, left this world unexpectedly on October 3, 2003, to continue his quest for an eternal family.
Shane was born on November 17, 1970 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ronald E and Judy Ann Clontz Warenski. Shane married Bonnie, his sole-mate and best friend on August 8, 1992. Together they made their own special family with daughter Sienna, 7 1/2 "Darler", Mason, 5 "Big Dog" and his little bag of smashed apples, Savanna, 3 weeks old.
Shane graduated from Granger High School in 1989 and following high school he attended and played baseball at the College of Southern Idaho and the University of Utah.
Shane worked as a superintendent for Cal Wadsworth Construction and is remembered by his co-workers as a leader and a friend who demanded respect without asking for it.
Shane was definitely not a spectator in life. He had an unquenchable quest for knowledge and learned from life's adventures. He then used that knowledge and passion to become better by seeing more in others than they could see in themselves.
An avid outdoorsman, Shane enjoyed the adventure of hunting, fishing and spending time among God's creations with his family and friends.
As a genuine, funny and amazing individual, Shane will be remembered for his uncanny ability to influence those around him with his straight forward approach to life. Shane believed the most important things in life are the memories you make with those you love. For Shane, he learned that it was all about family.
Shane is survived by his wife and three children; parents, Ronald and Judy Warenski, West Valley City, UT; brother, Shawn (Tamara) Warenski, American Fork, UT; sister, Misty (Tom) Cash, West Valley City, UT; brother, Shannondoah (Lonna) Warenski, West Valley City, UT; grandmother, Darlene Warenski, Richfield UT; his uncles, aunts and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Rex Warenski and Farrell and Arlene Oldroyd Terry.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the Warenski Family's name at any Zions Bank location.
