Our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at the age of 86, March 22, 2003 surrounded by his loving wife and family.
He was born Oct 24, 1916 in Pay-son, UT the seventh of 10 children to John William and Lillie May Good-fellow. Married Dorathy Ruth Hemingway Sept 3, 1938 in Salt Lake City.
He retired from Gallagher (Baker Hughes) Company where he worked as a welder for more than 30 years. He enjoyed the great outdoors, camping, fishing, his dogs (Gus and Little Joe) and spending time with his family; especially the weekly visits of his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorathy; sons, Jerry (Bobbi), Dennis (Rita), Ronald (Sherlyn), all of Salt Lake City; brother and two sisters, Mildred (Marion), Don (Hellen), Ruby (Boyd); sister-in-law, Bonnie Goodfellow; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Viewing will be Tues. March 25, 2003, 6-8 p.m. Deseret Mortuary, 36 E. 700 S., Salt Lake City and Wed. March 26, 2003, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Graveside services will be Wed. March 26, 2003, 12 noon Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave. and N St.
