Long time Salt Lake City resident passed away in San Jose, CA on March 25, 2003, following a lengthy illness.
Norma was born in Granger, Utah, September 20, 1908 to Neil and Virginia (Taylor) Olson. She attended LDS Business College and was employed as a bookkeeper for several Salt Lake City businesses. Her community service included participation in Salt Lake City's Grandmother Program. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and held several leadership positions while living in Southern California.
Norma is the loving mother of Sharon Morse (William), Mission Viejo, CA and Gary Smith (Dawn), San Jose, CA. Norma is the devoted grandmother of Tarilyn Hunt (Gaylen), Aurora, CO; Ryan Morse (Melissa), Peoria, AZ; Jeff Smith, San Jose, CA; Darin Morse, Burbank, CA; Precious great grandmother of Amy, Trevor and Devin Hunt; Dear sister of Nellie Larson, Salt Lake City, UT; Myrtle Jacobson, Salt Lake City, UT; Walter Olson, Salt Lake City, UT; and Mary Feulner, West Valley City, UT; and special aunt to nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends and family may visit at 12:00 p.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
